Recently, we have come across some situations where some customers, while loving our watches, have found themselves having to replace or repair them due to accidental falls. Many times, the watch placed close to daily activities has been the victim of accidental bumps from bottom to top, causing it to fall.
Our answer to this challenge is the Secure Lock, a new attachment designed to ensure maximum security when hanging our wall clocks. Its implementation is simple and ingenious. We see the device explained in 3 simple steps.
- Let's start with the depth of the screw: following the instructions provided in the package, position the screw so that the head protrudes from the wall according to a specific thickness. The thickness is provided inside the package, among the accessories supplied. (Figure 1 and 2)
- The wall clock is then hung, inserting it at an angle to the screw. In this way, the screw enters and engages in the groove. It is slid first obliquely and then horizontally. This operation, although difficult to describe in words, becomes clear during use. (Figures 3 and 4)
- Once the screw is firmly in the groove, the watch must be centred horizontally to find its centre of gravity and prevent it from rotating in one direction or the other. (Figures 5, 6 and 7)
This procedure, even in the event of an upward impact on the clock face, ensures that the clock can swing sideways without ever being in danger of falling.
The eventual removal of the clock from the wall is equally intuitive, simply follow the reverse operation, ensuring a safe exit from the wall bracket.
Some of our models already incorporate this solution as standard, while for others it is available on request. We are working on implementing this innovation on all our watches in the future.
